From Mr Kent's lesson on 21st January, I had many takeaways from his lessons. On this post, I will include some points I have picked up about the Internet and the World WIde Web.

 The points include:
1.URL stands for Uniform Resource Locater
 2.A thumbnail is a smaller version of a larger picture, used to improve the loading time for the website
 3.An animation is a a display of a series of still images in sequence
 4.Email stands for electronic mail. It can be viewed from all over the world by you as long as you have acces to the Internet.
 5.The golden rule to netiquette is that you treat the way you would want people to treat you
 6.Chat online is real-time typed conversations which takes place in the Internet
 7.Plug-ins extend the capability of the the browser and can be obtained at no cost from various browsers
 8.Virtual reality is an simulation of the reality through computers
 9.Blogs are reflections from the blogger which states the hobbies, likings of the blogger which can be viewed publicly.
 10.A link is connection between websites. A link is the website address.
