Last Monday on 21st of January, Mr Kent Cheong, our Infocomm Studies teacher, taught us many things about the internet. The one I was most interested in was the difference between Web 1.0 and 2.0. I will talk about that later, anyway, I have shared the powerpoint my group and I have created.
From this presentation, I learnt that there are many search engines we can use. However, only a few of them are frequently used. For example, Google and Yahoo!. I have also learnt that there are many types of graphic formats. They include PNG, JPEG, BMP and many more. These three which are quoted are the ones which are more frequently seen. JPEG is a compressed image as many details that cannot be seen by the human eye are removed, thus the file size is reduced.
